Can direct composite resins step in as an alternative for ceramic?
After the current unprecedented pandemic, it is possible that patients will place dental care lower on their list of priorities. However, bread-and-butter dentistry with direct composite restorations will still have an important role to play in the times ahead.
Basic restorative dentistry will always play an important role in dentistry regardless of any pandemic or economic crisis. Patients may not have dental care high on their priority list and choose to avoid costly treatments. They will be relieved to be able to opt for single-visit, direct restorations, which will be kinder to their pockets.
In this webinar, participants will learn how they can push the limits of modern composites. This involves using a combination of universal and bulk-fill composites to restore large dental cavities and replace cusps efficiently without compromising on performance and esthetics.
In this webinar, you will learn more about the following themes:
- Potential new reality in dentistry immediately after COVID-19
- Isolation of the treatment field
- Types of composite material, their properties and indications
- Clinical cases and studies supporting bulk-fill composites
