Insufficient restorations: replace or repair?
Insufficient dental restorations require an intervention, which could be less or more invasive. On the one hand, the minimally invasive approach is preferable, but it does not always give a complete overview of the situation. On the other hand, the replacement guarantees that there are no longer any hidden deficiencies; however, the rest of the tooth structure could be weakened. This webinar provides a comparison of both methods with criteria for their selection and gives clear recommendations regarding intraoral repair options for clinical applications.
In this webinar, you will learn more about the following themes:
- Criteria of insufficient restorations
- Repair possibilities and reasons for replacement
- Pretreatment of the existing direct or indirect restoration in need of repair
