Jerry Varner, CDT:Jerry has over 22 years experience as a dental laboratory technician and educator. He received his training as a dental technician in the United States Navy, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas in 1998. Prior to joining Ivoclar Vivadent, Inc., Jerry taught Dental Laboratory Technology at the Department of Defense Dental Laboratory School at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. In addition, he also served as dental technician in both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force. After his retirement from the Air Force in 2016 he worked for the Department of Defense at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada as a Dental Technician and later joined Ivoclar Vivadent as a Technical Consultant working in the Technical Services and Education Department.
Kene Miller, MS, CDT, TE:Originally from Chicago, Illinois and has over 26 years of experience as a dental laboratory technician, manager and educator. Proudly served in the US Navy for 20 years where he received his dental laboratory training and attained a CDT in both removable and fixed prosthetics. He earned a Master of Science Degree from the American Military University in Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management from the Southern Illinois University. Prior to joining Ivoclar Vivadent, Inc., Kene taught Dental Laboratory Technology at the Medical Education Training Command at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. He is currently a technical consultant working in the Ivoclar Vivadent Technical Services Department. He has given presentations to laboratory groups throughout the United States and Canada.
