The dilemma of choice – direct or indirect restoration?
In many cases, a practitioner has to choose between direct and indirect restorations. There are certain situations when the choice is clear. However, it is very often not so obvious. A decision has to be made with the knowledge of the properties of the restorative materials, applied occlusal forces, the amount of remaining tooth structure, etc. Is there a difference in clinical success between direct vs. indirect restorations? The webinar covers the advantages and limits of both techniques for an optimal and reasonable choice between them.
In this webinar, you will learn more about the following themes:
- Limits and capabilities of direct and indirect restorations
- Influence of the material on the choice of technique
